Me (14 at the time) and my cousin (10) had always been close, going to my room during partys and falling asleep watching youtube, hanging out and playing games when she stayed over, and running through my grandmas backyard to get to the seesaw first. Thing is, she didnt have a great enviroment to grow up in, absent father who only gave monetary support, grandma was her primary caretaker and she was all around abusive (didnt know enough to see it then), and she had been previously raped by a family member (they were removed from the family alltogether and moved to montana). Between her personality quirks and emotional trauma she found it hard to make friends in school, but she had me. I wasnt a saint or anything, i was just nice to her when we hung out and very outgoing, like when she called me saying our grandma had hit her for cooking for herself (grandma only cooks for other people when her grandkids are around) and I told my mom and we picked her up within the hour, and holly shit my mom scared me then, grandma more so. Anyway, she was now staying with us for the next week until grandma got it together, so that ment we were sharing my room (the adults of the family saw that she liked my company the most and trusted me so they let it be). During the second night of her stay after everyone had gone to sleep she broke down crying, saying that she hated grandma and her dad and school and her history teacher(always hated history so much) and saying that she would always be alone and no one liked her. This happend when i was using my old ps3 trying to get high rounds on cod zombies, and as she started crying i was still in game mode so i absentmindedly said “I like you, and i dont think ill be going anywhere for a while”. That did it. My stupid and plain comment hit her in a way i couldnt understand as she got off my bed and joined me on the floor of my room(I played on the floor sitting as it was the most comfortable) and kissed me. This was my first kiss. Me. The dumbass whos only romantic interaction was sharing my dr pepper with a girl during class movie night. I didnt know what to do as this young girl who was quite pretty (and only got prettier from there) and was my cousin kissed me. What do i do, what do i say, how do i act after does anyone have a fucking MANUAL IM SO TURNED ON. After she let go of my soul she said bye and ran to the bathroom to hide.
