My best friend is dating my mom

My mom told me she had a new boyfriend and it turns out it was my best friend, now they're a couple and it's awkward for me

I'm originally from the states but me and my mom live in a country in europe now, don't wanna say which one. I'm 14 and so is my friend, i'll call him David here but its not his real name. We are best friends even though we are pretty different, i'm kind of shy and i'm small for my age and not good at sports or anything while David is tall for his age and really athletic, captain of his soccer team (might end up being a pro player even) and he trains and exercises a lot, he has a six pack and big arm muscles. Yeah he's good looking too and always did well with girls and he lost his virginity years ago. I only just started puberty and just have a little bit of pubic hair while David started a while ago and is really well developed for his age, years ago i saw him when we were showering after gym class and he already had a big bush of pubes and an adult sized dick. Made me pretty jealous but he never bragged or anything and he said size doesn't really matter and i shouldn't feel bad. Even though we are pretty different we have been best friends basically since we met and we play the same games and watch the same tv shows and stuff and we hang out almost every day.

So this year David started coming over all the time especially for sleepovers. Around the same time my mom started to be in a way better mood all the time and she said it was cuz she had a new boyfriend. This went on for a couple months and i didn't see anything wrong. Then my mom said she wants me to meet her boyfriend and brought me into the living room and David was sitting there. Mom told me her new boyfriend is him and they're happy together and she wants me to be ok with it. At first i thought it was a big prank but i realized they were serious and i freaked out a bit. I said its illegal but mom said the minimum age here is 14, i looked it up and it was true. We talked for a long time and by the end i said i was kinda ok with it. They assured me it doesn't change my relationship with either of them, my mom is still my mom and my friend is still my friend, and I can still have fun with him at school and hang out with him like I normally did. And that's pretty much how it went from then on, David was still my friend from school but now he was also dating my mom. So he comes over for a sleepover just like before and we play video games and eat pizza, but then instead of sleeping in my room he says goodnight and goes to my mom's bedroom. Sometimes I can hear them from my bed. Lately he has been staying over most nights and basically living here.

I'm basically ok with it and i'm getting used to it but it is still pretty awkward. Sometimes when i'm hanging out with David as a friend i suddenly remember he slept with my mom last night and he's gonna do it again tonight while i'm alone in my bed jerking off, and sometimes the image of it gets in my imagination and i can't get it out. Like a couple days ago we were gaming together and David saw my mom walk out of the shower with a towel around her, and he said he's gonna take a break and be back soon, then he followed my mom into her room and half an hour later he came back and we went back to gaming. I knew what they were doing but neither of us said anything. It's weird seeing them coming out of the shower together, or like coming out of their bedroom with her hair all messed up at the back and knowing they just got done doing it. Hearing them from my room makes me feel really weird but it would be too awkward for me to ask them to be quieter. They're pretty loud, i hear the the slapping sound and the bed moving too but mostly what i hear is mom moaning and squealing, i don't think she realizes how loud she is. One time when she was especially loud she apologized next morning and asked if they kept me up but i felt too awkward to tell the truth and just wanted to end the conversation asap so i said i didn't hear anything. I walked in on them doing it a couple times, one time when my club was cancelled so i came home early and they were doing it on the couch. It was really awkward, mom was trying to cover herself up and David too but i accidentally got a good look at it.

They are in that honeymoon phase i guess and they are pretty touchy, i think they tone it down a bit when i'm there but they're still pretty close, like every time they're in the same room they got arms round each other. We watch movies together and they curl up on the big coach and give each other little touches and kisses, it's awkward for me. When mom goes to work she comes to me and gives a little goodbye kiss on the cheek like she always did, then she turns to David and they do a big long french kiss that lasts ages, even if i'm standing right there. They do naughtier stuff when they think i'm not looking, like sometimes David puts his hand on her ass all sneaky like, i pretend i don't see. And they do it like all the time, multiple times a day every day and while we don't talk about it directly they know i know about it and while i try to ignore it i can't help feeling awkward about it. Like yesterday me and David were playing a game in the living room and mom was cleaning up, but David kept looking at mom cuz she was just wearing a robe and i could see the bulge going down his pant leg. He was playing the game really bad cuz of that and then he put down the controller and said he was too tired, then went off and took mom's hand and led her into her room. Often he already gets hard before he even goes into the bedroom with mom and i can see it in his pants, and then i know for sure what he's gonna do.

Something happened last weekend that made me feel really weird and kind of pathetic to be honest. We were all watching a movie together and they were curled up together on the couch, i tried not to look but they got pretty touchy and started making out a bit, then they got up and said i can finish the movie by myself and went off into mom's room, i had to turn the volume up a lot to hear it over the sounds. Then the next day they were in mom's room all day, the noises stopped and started but they kept going all through the day. I knocked on the door to ask mom about dinner and she shouted back through the door that she ordered pizza. The 1st time they came out of the room all day was when the pizza arrived and they came to eat it, they were all sweaty and just wearing underwear, then they went back into her room. I knocked on the door again in the evening cuz at dinner David said maybe we could play some video games that night and he just opened the door a little bit (i knew he was naked) and told me to wait another half hour and then we could play. So i sat there in my room waiting while the noises kept going and finally David came in and we did some gaming. David treats me really well, he treats me as an equal and always has and he never acts like he is above me because he's dating my mom, but its hard not to feel weird in situations like that.
