Incest ruined my relationship with my mom.

I see people talking about incest on this site a lot and nobody ever seems to talk about the dangers of it, so I'm adding my experiences. For me it totally ruined my relationship with my mom. I had an incestuous thing going with her all through high school and it didn't end well. She actually fell in love with me in a romantic way, she thought she was my girlfriend. I loved her too of course, but just as a mom, I liked having sex with her but I didn't see her as my partner and I still wanted to date girls my own age. We just weren't on the same page about what our relationship actually was, I wanted a kind of "mom with benefits" and she wanted us to live like a married couple. By the end she wasn't acting like a mom at all, she was acting like a love struck teenage girl and totally obsessed with me. When I was at school or out of the house she bombarded me with dozens of texts saying stuff like "I miss you so much!!!" (sometimes accompanied by nude selfies) and when I was at home all she wanted to do was make out and cuddle. Even when we were in public together she acted like she was my girlfriend, hanging off my arm and trying to kiss me regardless of who could see, and acting territorial to any teen girl who tried to talk to me. At home she stopped doing the things a mom is supposed to do, she wasn't nagging me to do my homework or study for tests or anything. I know that might sound like a good thing, and at first it was, but I actually started to miss having a mom, and my grades slipped. The power dynamics completely reversed too, she got all submissive to me and eager for me to tell her what to do, meaning that I was basically in charge of the household, and I wasn't mature enough for that. She got very upset and jealous when I started dating girls from my school and she treated my girlfriends terribly, and then the last straw ws when she deliberately set it up so my girlfriend would catch my mom and me having sex. We had a big fight over that and she also revealed she'd stopped taking her birth control pills, she wanted to get pregnant by me. I shut everything down then and went to live with my dad, and my relationship with my mom was never the same after. I wish we'd never started having sex now.
